Deck overview

This Grixis spellslinger deck is commanded by Fire Lord Azula, who generates {R}{R} on attack and copies every spell cast while attacking. The primary plan leverages this copy trigger during combat to duplicate pump spells like Unleash Fury and Bulk Up, transforming Azula into a lethal trampling threat while triggering magecraft engines such as Archmage Emeritus, Guttersnipe, and Professor Onyx. Dense two-mana ramp and low-cost protection like Dive Down and Mithril Coat ensure Azula enters early and attacks safely. If combat is stalled, the deck transitions into storm finishes with Underworld Breach or an infinite mana loop using Reiterate and Turnabout to burn out the table with Comet Storm or Electrodominance.
