Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy mono-green Wurm typal stompy strategy piloted by Baru, Wurmspeaker. It accelerates mana rapidly in the opening turns using land ramp, cost reducers like Urza's Incubator, and explosive dorks like Fanatic of Rhonas. By turn 4, the deck establishes its core engine, deploying Baru, Wurmspeaker or a power-based draw engine like Elemental Bond or Garruk's Uprising. On turn 5, it transitions into overwhelming critical onset by casting or cheating massive Wurms such as Worldspine Wurm, Impervious Greatwurm, and Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus. Combat damage multipliers including Unnatural Growth and Overwhelming Stampede ensure a lethal finish on turn 6 across all opponents. While the deck boasts immense card draw and resilient recovery, it carries virtually no reactive interaction or stax pieces, relying purely on proactive threat density and selective protection like Heroic Intervention to race the table.
