Deck overview

This mono-black aristocrats deck harnesses Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER as both a card engine and a win condition in the command zone. The deck controls the game by deploying self-recurring creatures like Forsaken Miner, Gravecrawler, and Bloodsoaked Champion, feeding them into sacrifice outlets to drain life totals and draw extra cards. Asymmetric control pieces like Grave Pact, Braids, Cabal Minion, and Tergrid, God of Fright strip opposing boards while generating overwhelming card advantage. The primary win condition is an infinite life-drain loop utilizing Forsaken Miner, Phyrexian Altar (or Warren Soultrader), and Sephiroth's targeted death trigger, which commits a crime on each iteration to recur Miner infinitely. The deck boasts resilient graveyard recovery with cards like Reanimate and Victimize, quickly rebuilding after board wipes. While it lacks stack-based countermagic, its dense redundancy and potent attrition engines allow it to dominate casual and high-power tables.
