Deck overview

Tidus, Yuna's Guardian leads a Bant counters and proliferate deck that compounds board power through combat and counter distribution. The deck establishes early board presence with efficient creatures and counter enablers like Hardened Scales, Bristly Bill, and Shelinda. Tidus enters on Turn 3 to generate continuous card advantage and proliferate triggers starting Turn 4. From there, the deck scales rapidly using multiplier effects such as Innkeeper's Talent, Tekuthal, and Tromell, while converting counters into mana and cards through Kami of Whispered Hopes and Danny Pink. Critical onset arrives around Turn 6, when massive threats gain evasion from Champion of Lambholt, Kodama of the West Tree, or Duskshell Crawler. The deck closes out games around Turn 8 through overwhelming trample damage, Chocobo Knights' double strike, or a decisive Triumph of the Hordes, protected by premier phasing and counter-retention tools.
