Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red Voltron strategy commanded by Gilgamesh, Master-at-Arms. The primary game plan ramps into six mana by Turn 5 to cast Gilgamesh, immediately triggering his ability to look at the top six cards of the library. With over 30 Equipment cards in the 99, each trigger reliably cheats multiple pieces of Equipment directly onto the battlefield and attaches one to Gilgamesh for free. The deck stacks massive stat boosters like Colossus Hammer and Blackblade Reforged alongside evasion pieces like Commander's Plate and Trailblazer's Boots to eliminate opponents through Commander damage. It protects its high-cost commander using auto-attached hexproof, shroud, and indestructible equipment, complemented by red redirection spells like Bolt Bend. While vulnerable to mass artifact exile and commander removal, its high equipment density ensures substantial card advantage and rapid lethal damage once the commander attacks.
