Deck overview

This deck is an artifact cheat and midrange beatdown strategy piloted by Jhoira, Ageless Innovator. The core plan revolves around casting Jhoira on Turn 2 and leveraging untap engines—most notably Sting, the Glinting Dagger, Aphetto Alchemist, and Ioreth of the Healing House—to rapidly stack ingenuity counters. By Turn 4 or 5, Jhoira cheats colossal threats into play for zero mana, including Blightsteel Colossus, Krang, Utrom Warlord, and Triplicate Titan. These behemoths bypass conventional casting costs and counterspells, overwhelming opponents with trampling, indestructible, and infect-driven combat damage. A robust suite of cheap countermagic, hexproof granting spells, and phasing effects shields the setup from disruption. Card refill engines like One with the Machine and Padeem, Consul of Innovation keep the hand stocked with threats, while Master Transmuter provides a dependable backup cheat outlet if Jhoira is pressured.
