Deck overview

This deck is a 5-Color Polymorph Control strategy commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The entire creature suite is dedicated exclusively to expensive, high-impact threats such as Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, Archfiend of Despair, and Avacyn, Angel of Horror. By excluding small creatures entirely, all early-game board presence is generated through noncreature token producers like Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Lingering Souls. On Turn 4 or 5, Jace enters the battlefield and immediately uses his -3 ability to exile a token and flip a massive threat into play for free. Backed by mass-polymorph variants like Mass Polymorph and Synthetic Destiny, the deck transitions from early defensive control into an overwhelming aerial beatdown, utilizing Archfiend of Despair to double damage and close out the game over three combat cycles.
