Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Dimir artifact midrange strategy commanded by Golbez, Crystal Collector. The game plan revolves around rapidly deploying low-cost artifacts and artifact tokens to satisfy Golbez's scaling threshold triggers. Each artifact entering triggers surveil, enabling consistent card filtering and filling the graveyard with high-power payoffs such as Metalwork Colossus and Troll of Khazad-dûm. Once four artifacts are controlled, Golbez provides continuous card advantage by returning creatures to hand each end step; reaching eight artifacts turns Golbez into a lethal burn engine that drains each opponent for life equal to the returned creature's power. The deck supplements this burn clock with massive Construct tokens from Urza, Lord High Artificer and Urza's Saga, planeswalker reach via Tezzeret, Master of the Bridge, and a lean Dimir interaction package to protect its board and disrupt opponents.
