Deck overview

This mono-red list uses Purphoros, God of the Forge to turn token generation into unavoidable table-wide damage. By deploying mana acceleration in the early turns, the deck consistently casts Purphoros on Turn 3. It follows up with multi-body spells like Hordeling Outburst, Siege-Gang Commander, and Firecat Blitz to burn all three opponents at once. Opponents face severe mana disruption from Blood Moon, Trinisphere, and Winter Moon, which punish nonbasic lands and low-cost spells while the deck functions comfortably on basic Snow-Covered Mountains. Alternate win conditions include infinite hasty creature combos with Dualcaster Mage plus Twinflame or Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker alongside Combat Celebrant and Zealous Conscripts. Damage multipliers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus and Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might accelerate the clock, allowing the deck to close games around Turn 5.
