Commander: Whtz, the Bibliophile

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This deck is a combo-control powerhouse built around drawing cards, generating infinite mana, and chaining extra turns. The commander, Whtz, the Bibliophile, offers a modest draw-and-life outlet but is entirely non-essential; the real engine lives in the 99. The primary win condition is assembling infinite mana via Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal, Grim Monolith + Power Artifact, or Auriok Salvagers + Lion's Eye Diamond, then sinking it into Walking Ballista or Aetherflux Reservoir. Secondary paths include Approach of the Second Sun, Psychosis Crawler beatdown, Thassa's Oracle with Leveler, and extra-turn chains into Test of Endurance or Triskaidekaphile. The deck is densely packed with fast mana, tutors, and counterspells, enabling it to execute its game plan quickly and protect it from disruption.
