Poison EDH by Wormishfleet88

Commander: Atraxa, Praetors' Voice

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a four-color Phyrexian "corrupted" control-midrange deck helmed by Atraxa, Praetors' Voice. The plan is to seed poison counters across all three opponents early - via toxic/infect attackers, Infectious Inquiry, Prologue to Phyresis, and the Mite tokens from Skrelv's Hive - then convert Atraxa's end-step proliferate into a game-ending clock. Proliferation also grows Aether Vial, Everflowing Chalice, Contagion Engine, and Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider-doubled counters, while Ezuri, Stalker of Spheres, Gix, Yawgmoth Praetor, and Venser, Corpse Puppet turn each proliferate into cards and board presence. The deck wins primarily through 10 poison counters: either fast infect beats from Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon and Tyrranax Rex, a wide Triumph of the Hordes alpha strike, or burst proliferation into Vraska's ultimate. It is a value-heavy deck that can also play a longer recursion game through Geth's Summons, Vat Emergence, and Sheoldred's Restoration.
