Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Malcolm/Kediss is a UR Pirate engine deck. Kediss makes every commander hit deal damage to all opponents, and Malcolm's Pirate-damage trigger turns that spread into three Treasures per combat. The primary plan is to get both partners online, flood the board with Treasure tokens, and then either cash them into a massive Crackle with Power or equip them to Malcolm through Gemcutter Buccaneer for a one-shot commander-damage swing. Secondary routes are pirate tempo, artifact-fueled card draw, and temporary theft. There is no hidden commander; the two partners are the deck's identity. The deck has plenty of interaction and card velocity but is heavily dependent on keeping both commanders on the battlefield.
