Deck overview

This deck is a Temur spellslinger deck led by Iroh, Grand Lotus, focusing on leveraging Lesson spells and graveyard recursion. Early turns prioritize mana acceleration and filling the graveyard through looting and self-mill. Once Iroh enters the battlefield on Turn 5, he reduces the flashback cost of all Lessons in the graveyard to a single generic mana. This discount fuels explosive spellcasting turns starting on Turn 6. With damage amplifiers like Guttersnipe and Firebrand Archer, or token producers like Young Pyromancer, the deck converts cheap flashback spells into broad table damage and wide board states. Large mid-game threats like Ran and Shaw and buff spells such as Overwhelming Victory finish off opponents through combat by Turn 8. While vulnerable to graveyard hate and well-timed creature removal, the deck provides strong card flow and redundancy.
