Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius control and token beatdown strategy led by Hylda of the Icy Crown. It converts tapping effects into 4/4 Elemental creature tokens, team-wide +1/+1 counters, and card selection. By leveraging a high density of cheap tapping creatures, instants, and mass-freeze sorceries, the deck keeps opposing threats locked down while building an overwhelming board presence. Card draw engines like Verity Circle, Theft of Dreams, and Borrowing 100,000 Arrows capitalize on tapped opposing boards to refill your hand. Powerful enchantments like Opposition and creatures like Junk Winder turn your generated tokens into continuous board control. The deck closes games through wide combat attacks with large Elementals after clearing blockers with spells like Sleep and Bond of Discipline.
