Battlemage on a horse by vadamirr

Format: Commander

Commander: Aragorn, the Uniter

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Four-color spell-slinger/combat hybrid whose hidden commanders are Zada, Mirrorwing Dragon, and Ink-Treader Nephilim. The deck wins by resolving a single targeted cantrip or pump spell while one of those copy engines is on board, copying it to every creature and chaining card draw, Treasures, and +1/+1 counters. Aragorn, the Uniter is the payoff: white spells make Soldiers, red spells burn opponents, green spells pump a creature, blue spells scry. The final turn is usually a mass pump/double-strike attack with Tifa's Limit Break, Legion Leadership, Gold Rush, or Boros Charm; the fallback is commander damage from an unblockable, pumped Aragorn. This is not a compact combo deck-it snowballs through cantrips until the team deals 40 damage to each opponent.
