Deck overview

Vivi Ornitier commands an explosive Izzet spellslinger deck that blends storm velocity, incremental burn, and compact infinite combos. Vivi serves as both an escalating win condition and a massive mana engine, gaining power counters and pinging each opponent whenever noncreature spells are cast, then converting that power into a burst of blue and red mana. The deck accelerates in the opening turns using efficient mana rocks and cost reducers before establishing card engines like Curiosity, Rhystic Study, or Niv-Mizzet. On Turn 5, the deck reaches critical onset, chaining cheap cantrips and rituals while multiplying damage through pingers like Guttersnipe, Fiery Inscription, and Solphim, Mayhem Dominus. Alternatively, it can pivot directly into infinite combos such as Dualcaster Mage with Heat Shimmer or Isochron Scepter with Dramatic Reversal. Backed by free and efficient counterspells like Force of Will and An Offer You Can't Refuse, the deck swiftly eliminates all three opponents simultaneously in a single decisive turn.
