Death by spiders by user6906671

Format: Commander

Commander: Shelob, Child of Ungoliant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Golgari Spider deck uses Shelob, Child of Ungoliant as a resilient board-control commander: she gives every Spider deathtouch and ward, and her triggered ability converts any creature killed by a Spider into a Food token that can later be sacrificed for life. The primary path is ramp into Shelob, build a wide Spider board, and finish through combat with Door of Destinies / Vanquisher's Banner boosts. Secondary paths include a token-sacrifice engine with Peregrin Took and Tireless Provisioner, a graveyard-token plan via Izoni and Spider Spawning, and an alternate drain from Bolas's Citadel. No hidden commander exists; the deck is built around the single-faced Shelob.
