Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov enchantress strategy helmed by Eriette of the Charmed Apple, designed to turn Auras into an asymmetric defense and a steady life-draining win condition. By attaching pacification and goad Auras onto opposing threats, Eriette completely immunizes you from their attacks while forcing opponents to bludgeon one another. Concurrently, enchantresses like Sram, Senior Edificer and Mesa Enchantress keep your hand full, while Killian, Ink Duelist and Danitha Capashen, Paragon dramatically discount your spells. As your Aura count expands, Eriette drains each opponent for massive life chunks at each of your end steps while keeping your life total high. If Eriette is removed, the deck seamlessly transitions into a lethal Voltron backup plan using Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice, All That Glitters, and Ethereal Armor. Strong mass recursion spells like Retether and Eiganjo Dynastorian // Replenish ensure resilience against sweepers.
