Deck overview

This five-color land-ramp deck is helmed by Grizzlegom, Hurloon Hero, a 7-mana commander that turns a diverse land base into a multi-pronged value engine. The primary plan is to accelerate onto a massive number of lands, cast the commander, and then chain extra combat phases to repeatedly trigger its attack ability-drawing cards per Island, draining each opponent per Swamp, and building a board of Soldier tokens per Plains. The deck runs an unusually high density of extra-combat effects (14+ cards such as Relentless Assault, Port Razer, and Aggravated Assault) to convert a single swing into a game-ending sequence.
