The Gak by JakesMyth

Format: Commander

Commander: Hogaak, Arisen Necropolis

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari graveyard-value deck helmed by Hogaak, Arisen Necropolis, a free-to-cast creature that leverages convoke and delve to hit the battlefield early. The core plan fills the graveyard aggressively via self-mill creatures like Stitcher's Supplier and Satyr Wayfinder, then uses that resource to power draw, token generation, and recursion. Primary wins come from overwhelming combat-Craterhoof Behemoth pumping a wide board of tokens, Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord sacing a giant Hogaak or God-Eternal Rhonas to drain the table, or simply beating down with trampling threats. The deck generates immense card advantage through Greater Good, Life's Legacy, and Altar of the Wretched, but relies heavily on the graveyard and has limited stack interaction.
