A worthy Sacrifice by JoeShooter

Format: Commander

Commander: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Grenzo, Dungeon Warden leads a Rakdos aristocrats combo strategy that drains the table through relentless sacrifice and recursion loops. The primary win condition revolves around establishing infinite death-and-enter triggers using sacrifice outlets such as Ashnod's Altar or Phyrexian Altar alongside recursive creatures like Gravecrawler and Reassembling Skeleton, amplified by drain payoffs like Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, or Purphoros, God of the Forge. Grenzo provides supplementary board presence and slot-free value by cheating creatures directly from the bottom of the library using scry triggers. The deck can also pivot into explosive token swarms with Krenko, Mob Boss or direct burn via Terror of the Peaks.
