Format: Commander

Commander: Toralf, God of Fury // Toralf's Hammer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-red deck is built around Toralf, God of Fury's front face, using excess noncombat damage to chain burn into opponents. The Hammer face is a secondary equipment that can be cast from the command zone, but the deck's mana base, damage doublers, and mass burn spells all support Toralf's trigger. The primary plan is to cast Toralf, multiply damage with enchantments and creatures, then resolve a board wipe that turns each damaged creature into a bolt at opponents. Backup lines use Brash Taunter, Imodane, and Dawnsire. Ashling, Flame Dancer is the closest thing to a hidden commander, providing card filtering and red mana retention. The deck is slow but explosive, with no counterspells and a heavy reliance on red mana generation.
