Deck overview

This Commander deck is an aggressive Boros tribal strategy centered on Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. The primary game plan revolves around flooding the board with low-cost Dwarf creatures, including high redundancy from seven copies of Seven Dwarves, and generating a dense hoard of Treasure tokens through Dwarf entries and Magda, Brazen Outlaw. Thorin acts as an escalating anthem, converting every Treasure and artifact token into bonus power for the entire Dwarf army. Mid-game turns leverage explosive combat multipliers like Shared Animosity, Dáin Ironfoot, and Dragon payoffs such as Smaug the Magnificent and Hellkite Charger to overwhelm opponents with heavy combat damage. The list supports its aggressive game plan with efficient white and red removal, targeted land disruption, and mass protection spells like Boros Charm and Faith's Reward to withstand opposing board wipes.
