Hoard of the Dragon Queen by Gispachio

Format: Commander

Commander: Tiamat

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Tiamat is the true commander, making this a five-color Dragon battlecruiser that ramps to seven mana, resolves Tiamat, and uses its five-card tutor to assemble a devastating Dragon pile. The primary plan is combat damage with extra combats and ETB burn from Dragon Tempest and Terror of the Peaks. Secondary lines include cheating Dragons with Dracogenesis or Monster Manual and grinding out tokens with Lathliss and Dragonback Assault. The Ur-Dragon is a powerful tutorable finisher in the 99, not a hidden eminence engine. Miirym, Old Gnawbone, and Klauth form the mana/copy core that turns a medium board into a one-turn attack.
