Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated all-creature ramp and stompy build commanded by Nikya of the Old Ways. By eliminating noncreature spells entirely, it bypasses Nikya's casting restriction and maximizes the value of her land-mana doubling ability. The early game focuses on deploying low-cost mana dorks like Birds of Paradise and Delighted Halfling to establish Nikya on turn 3 or 4. Once Nikya untaps, the deck leaps from 4 or 5 mana to 8 to 10 mana, casting formidable threats such as Apex Devastator, Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant, Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger, and Craterhoof Behemoth. Interaction and card draw are handled entirely through creature enter-the-battlefield triggers, including Reclamation Sage, Bane of Progress, and Beast Whisperer. While the deck generates overwhelming board presence, it remains susceptible to board sweepers and lacks instant-speed stack interaction.
