Commander: Captain America, Living Legend

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Captain America, Living Legend helms a tap-and-untap synergy deck designed to extract double value from activated and triggered tap abilities each turn. By untapping every creature the first time it taps on your turn, the commander doubles card draw from creatures like Fallowsage and Gran-Gran, accelerates mana via Springleaf Drum and mana dorks, and rapidly builds board presence with Stonybrook Schoolmaster. The deck converts this value into victory primarily through the Grand Architect and Pili-Pala infinite mana combo, funneling excess mana into game-ending sinks like Katara, Water Tribe's Hope or Surgespanner bounce locks. Alternatively, it wins via Approach of the Second Sun or mass draw with Psychosis Crawler.
