Concerning Hobbits by jmajewicz23

Format: Commander

Commander: Samwise Gamgee

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Samwise Gamgee leads a Selesnya midrange and combo deck focused on token production, life gain triggers, and resilient creature recursion. The deck leverages cheap nontoken creatures to mass-produce Food tokens, turning them into card advantage through Trail of Crumbs and Peregrin Took or explosive mana via Jaheira, Friend of the Forest and Night of the Sweets Revenge. While it can overwhelm opponents through wide combat damage backed by Overwhelming Stampede or massive creatures like Banquet Guests and Feasting Hobbit, the primary win line is the two-card infinite combo between Rosie Cotton of South Lane and Scurry Oak to generate arbitrarily large power and infinite Squirrel tokens.
