Format: Commander

Commander: Y'shtola, Night's Blessed

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Y'shtola, Night's Blessed is a control-drain commander who converts every player's life loss into card advantage, then converts each 3+ mana noncreature spell into 2 damage per opponent and life gain. The deck is built around Esper draw-go control, repeated instant/sorcery recursion via Emet-Selch and token makers, and a compact life-loss engine that ends with Bloodthirsty Conqueror plus Enduring Tenacity, or a fast drain kill through Y'shtola, Bloodletter of Aclazotz, and token triggers. It slows the table with stax effects like Propaganda, Norn's Annex, and Kambal while accumulating incremental advantage, then closes with a large life-drain turn or commander damage through an unblockable/evasive package.
