Deck overview

This Jund deck is commanded by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch, converting -1/-1 counter placement into continuous card advantage and opposing life loss. The early turns establish mana fixing and deploy token-generating counter engines like Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons and Nest of Scarabs. By mid-game, the deck establishes an oppressive creature lock using Kulrath Knight to disable opposing attackers and blockers, or Maha, Its Feathers Night to enable one-sided board wipes with wither effects like Soul Snuffers and Carnifex Demon. The deck transitions into a win through the Blowfly Infestation loop with Obelisk Spider or All Will Be One, or by overwhelming opponents with deathtouch swarms granted infect by Triumph of the Hordes. High redundancy across counter distribution and resilient recursion engines make the deck sturdy against spot removal, though it remains vulnerable to mass exile sweepers.
