Deck overview

This mono-red Dragon tribal deck is commanded by Lathliss, Dragon Queen. The deck's primary plan is to accelerate its mana in the early turns using cost-reducing creatures and tribal mana rocks, cast Lathliss on Turn 5, and rapidly assemble a lethal aerial army by casting additional Dragons to trigger 5/5 Dragon tokens. Direct-damage multipliers like Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, and Warstorm Surge convert new Dragon arrivals into instant board-clearing damage and direct player burn. The deck also includes an infinite combat combo via Helm of the Host and Combat Celebrant as an alternate route to victory. While the deck boasts immense aerial combat power and strong asymmetric creature sweepers that bypass flying Dragons, it suffers from low stack-based protection, minimal card velocity, and vulnerability to board wipes.
