Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated Arcades, the Strategist defender tribal build, leveraging the commander's ability to turn every wall into a card-drawing, attacking threat that damages with its toughness. The core plan is to deploy cheap defender creatures (many of which cantrip on entry), ramp through mana dorks like Overgrown Battlement and Axebane Guardian, then swing with an army of high-toughness creatures backed by effects like Assault Formation, High Alert, and True Conviction. The deck wins through combat damage, often closing out with Akroma's Will or a massive The Pride of Hull Clade turn. It includes a solid recursion package and a decent protection suite but lacks fast combo lines, instead relying on incremental card advantage and inevitability.
