Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

A Sultai elf-combo deck that uses Thranduil the Elvenking as a draw engine and as a vessel for nearly every activated ability of Elves in the graveyard. The primary plan is to mill or Entomb key druids and legends, then use Thranduil to generate overwhelming mana and either draw the deck with Staff of Domination or finish with Thassa's Oracle, Chain of Smog, Lathril, or Finale of Devastation. Secondary beatdown paths through Ezuri and Eladamri round out the deck. Thranduil, Sindarin Liege // Silvan Rally is not the commander; its adventure face mills four and fetches two lands, feeding the graveyard while advancing mana.
