Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Dragon tribal battlecruiser commanded by The Ur-Dragon. The strategy leverages the commander's eminence ability from the command zone to discount all Dragon spells by one generic mana. During the opening turns, the deck deploys land ramp, mana rocks, and tribal cost reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman and Sarkhan, Soul Aflame. By Turn 5, it establishes a functional engine around key value pieces such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Goldspan Dragon, or Dragon's Hoard. Critical threat onset occurs on Turn 6 through massive flying bodies, explosive mana generation from Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient, or direct damage triggers from Scourge of Valkas and Warstorm Surge. Damage multipliers like Fiery Emancipation and overwhelming card advantage from Tiamat or Rishkar's Expertise close out games by Turn 7. While the deck boasts immense late-game firepower and recovery through high threat density, its basic-heavy mana base, absence of countermagic, and reliance on combat leave it vulnerable to fast combo decks and efficient sweepers.
