Deck overview

This Grixis deck leverages Kefka, Court Mage to execute a potent discard, wheel, and attrition game plan. The strategy revolves around deploying early mana rocks and cost reducers to cast Kefka ahead of curve. Once on the battlefield, Kefka's triggers force all four players to discard while refilling the pilot's hand based on card types. Discard punishers such as Liliana's Caress, Megrim, Waste Not, and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse turn symmetric discard and wheel effects into asymmetric resource advantage and lethal life drain. Board-controlling threats like Archfiend of Ifnir clear opposing creatures automatically as cards are discarded. In addition to overwhelming attrition and life drain, the deck packs an efficient infinite combo in Dualcaster Mage and Ghostly Flicker, providing an instant win condition. With resilient recursion via Reanimate and Underworld Breach, plus free interaction like Deflecting Swat and Deadly Rollick, the deck smoothly dominates mid-game tables.
