The Earth King Landfall Stompy by user1251769

Format: Commander

Commander: The Earth King

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Earth King is a mono-green land-ramp commander that converts attacking 4/4 creatures into extra basic lands, fueling a landfall-heavy beatdown plan. The primary plan is to ramp early, cast The Earth King, and attack with its Bear token to accelerate mana, then chain landfall payoffs like Rampaging Baloths and Avenger of Zendikar into a wide board. Secondary paths use graveyard land recursion through Aftermath Analyst, Lumra, Bellow of the Woods, and Ancient Greenwarden, plus Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant to dump big creatures into play. Finishers such as Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth turn that board into lethal trample damage. There is no double-faced or hidden commander; the deck is built around The Earth King's attack-trigger ramp engine, with Kazandu Mammoth as the only modal land/creature in the 99.
