Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Midrange Stompy list that ramps into large flying and trample threats while controlling the board with damage triggers and counterspells. The commander, Ureni, the Song Unending, functions as both a game-ending 10/10 flyer and an asymmetric board sweeper that scales with land count. In the early game, the deck establishes its mana base with dorks and basic land fixers before deploying token generators such as Dragonback Assault and Roar of Endless Song. Once Ureni, the Song Unending or a critical mass of tokens enters the battlefield, the deck pushes combat damage across several turns to close out the game. It features solid countermagic protection through cards like Counterspell and Hexing Squelcher, but its high mana curve and lack of nonland tutors make it reliant on natural topdecks and uninterrupted combat steps.
