Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Izzet artifact-cheat and Voltron strategy helmed by Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man. In the opening turns, Tony acts as a consistent resource smoother, digging four cards deep every turn to find key artifacts while the deck ramps with efficient mana rocks and cost-reducers. Upon reaching six mana on Turn 5, Tony activates his transform ability to become The Invincible Iron Man, a 5/5 flying, hasty threat. At the beginning of combat, Tony cheats an artifact from hand directly onto the battlefield, automatically attaching high-impact Equipment like Aettir and Priwen, Argentum Armor, or Kaldra Compleat, or dropping game-warping artifacts such as Portal to Phyrexia and Blightsteel Colossus. Backed by premier free counterspells in Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat, the deck swiftly eliminates opponents across consecutive combat steps while retaining an infinite combat backup plan via Aggravated Assault and Sword of Feast and Famine.
