Deck overview

This Golgari deck leverages Jenova, Ancient Calamity to turn creatures into massive Mutants and convert their power into massive card advantage. Early turns focus on mana ramp through green dorks and land sorceries, deploying Jenova on Turn 3. By Turn 4, Jenova distributes +1/+1 counters based on its power, creating Mutant creatures that draw cards equal to their power when sacrificed during your turn. The mid-game accelerates through power multipliers like Corpsejack Menace and The Skullspore Nexus, alongside massive draw engines like The Gitrog, Ravenous Ride and Greater Good. The deck closes games around Turn 7 through overwhelming trample combat enabled by Kodama of the West Tree or by sacrificing massive creatures to Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord to drain all opponents simultaneously. While explosive in card draw and board presence, the deck is vulnerable to board wipes and lacks heavy stack interaction.
