Deck overview

This Grixis deck is built around amass and the Ring. Sauron, the Dark Lord is the command-zone draw engine: every Army hit tempts you, and the Ring lets you discard your hand to draw four. The primary kill is the hidden commander Lord of the Nazgul: chaining instants and sorceries creates Wraiths, and nine Wraiths become 9/9, then swing with Anger haste. Secondary paths are a large trampling Army from amass effects and drain from The Great Goblin, Palantir of Orthanc, and One Ring to Rule Them All. Reanimation via Reanimate and Sauron, Lord of the Rings adds a backup beatdown plan.
