Commander: Bard, King of Dale

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a midrange Azorius tokens-and-value deck helmed by Bard, King of Dale. The game plan is to develop a board of small creatures and token engines, cast Bard, and leverage his two static abilities-doubling every token creation and every card draw beyond the first each turn-to snowball both board presence and card advantage. Primary wins come from go-wide combat, supported by flying enablers, first-strike anthems on tokens, and second-draw payoffs that grow the team. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through incremental advantage and overwhelming numbers. Bard himself is a six-mana engine rather than a combo piece or finisher, so the deck plays a classic ramp-develop-cast-commander curve before the doubling effects take over. Secondary angles include Clue tokens, connive chains, and opportunistic bounce for tempo.
