Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros Soldier tribal deck led by Lightning, Army of One. Its game plan focuses on establishing early board presence with low-cost Soldiers, compounding token generation, and converting wide armies into lethal swings through Lightning's Stagger ability. When Lightning connects with an opponent, Stagger doubles all damage dealt to that player and their permanents until your next turn, turning modest token boards into lethal threats. Heavy hitters like Myrel, Shield of Argive, Captain of the Watch, and Mondrak, Glory Dominus multiply the battlefield presence, while static anthems like Intangible Virtue and Rally the Ranks ensure every token hits hard. The deck relies on fair on-curve development and resilient tribal synergy, though it remains vulnerable to sweepers and lacks dedicated stack interaction. By sequencing efficient creatures and focusing doubled combat damage on one opponent at a time, the deck closes games through relentless combat pressure.
