Deck overview

This Selesnya midrange deck uses Aerith, Last Ancient as a value engine to grind out card advantage and build an overwhelming board state. The game plan focuses on establishing early lifegain enablers such as Healer's Hawk and Virulent Emissary, which trigger Aerith's end-step Raise ability to recur key creatures from the graveyard. The deck swarms the battlefield with token generators like Hop to It, Torens, Fist of the Angels, and Tendershoot Dryad, then scales their power using +1/+1 counter distributors such as Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn and Renata, Called to the Hunt. Without infinite combos or fast mana, the deck wins through fair combat damage around turn 8, closing games with overrun effects like Overwhelming Encounter and Flower // Flourish. It defends its wide creature presence with instant-speed protection like Join Shields and resets problematic opposing boards with Hour of Reckoning.
