Deck overview

Captain N'ghathrod leads a Dimir Horror tribal mill-and-theft deck. The primary plan is to attack with menace Horrors, mill opponents, then steal the best artifact or creature milled that turn at end step. Secondary paths are reanimation via Gyruda, Extract from Darkness, and Unseal the Necropolis, mass zombie creation through Dread Summons, and huge Consuming Aberration or Guiltfeeder attacks. The commander is the theft engine and menace enabler; the deck is built to use him directly. Gyruda is not a hidden commander or companion because the deck contains odd-cost cards; it is an extra mill/reanimation piece in the 99.
