Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Mardu token-combat engine commanded by Caesar, Legion's Emperor. The strategy curves low-cost token generators into Caesar on Turn 4, immediately generating card advantage and multiplying attacking bodies. As the board widens, the deck transitions into lethal reach by layering attack-triggered drain and enter-the-battlefield burn effects such as Purphoros, God of the Forge, Mishra, Claimed by Gix, and Commissar Severina Raine. Rather than relying on infinite combos or slow stax locks, the deck utilizes high functional redundancy, convoke-based protection like Clever Concealment, and turn-silencing creatures like Myrel, Shield of Argive to safely push through decisive, table-wide lethal damage by Turn 7.
