Deck overview

The Reaper, King No More commands a Jund aristocrats and minus-one-minus-one counter control shell. The primary game plan distributes counters across opposing boards to suppress threats, steal dying opposing creatures, and generate overwhelming engine value. The deck wins primarily through looping death triggers using sacrifice outlets and blood-drain payoffs like Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Bastion of Remembrance. Secondary win conditions involve generating infinite token loops with Blowfly Infestation paired with token generators like Nest of Scarabs, Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, or Flourishing Defenses, as well as finding decisive combo pieces directly via Protean Hulk lines.
