Commander: Witherbloom, the Balancer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Golgari deck pairs go-wide token generation with high-cost instant and sorcery spells discounted by Witherbloom, the Balancer. The commander grants spells affinity for creatures, turning wide boards into massive mana advantages. Early turns focus on mana dorks and passive token engines like Bitterblossom and Scute Swarm. Once a board presence is established, the deck pivots into explosive payoffs. It finishes games either through overwhelming combat damage with Craterhoof Behemoth and Finale of Devastation, or through drain combos such as Mirkwood Bats with Plague of Vermin, and Warren Soultrader sacrifice loops alongside Marionette Apprentice.
