Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger and storm list led by Vivi Ornitier. Vivi serves as both a scaling burn engine and a potent mana generator, accumulating +1/+1 counters and dealing 1 damage to every opponent whenever you cast a noncreature spell. By enchanting Vivi with Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or Tandem Lookout, every noncreature spell draws up to three cards, generating the fuel needed to storm through the deck in a single turn. Mana is sustained through Vivi's {0} ability, Electro, Assaulting Battery, and cheap cantrips, building toward lethal burn via Guttersnipe, Fiery Inscription, Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might, or a massive Crackle with Power. The list also features an infinite mana combo between Quicksilver Elemental and Vivi. While vulnerable to well-timed creature removal during setup, the deck delivers explosive same-turn finishes once its draw engines connect.
