Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul landfall engine that pairs Tannuk, Memorial Ensign with heavy land ramp, damage amplifiers, and token overruns. Early turns focus on accelerating mana through low-cost spells like Nature's Lore, Farseek, and Exploration. Once Tannuk, Memorial Ensign enters play on Turn 3 or 4, making multiple land drops each turn triggers table-wide noncombat burn and draws an extra card on the second trigger. In the mid-game, damage multipliers such as Torbran, Thane of Red Fell and Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might magnify each landfall trigger from 1 damage up to 3 or 4 damage per opponent. Massive land-fetch spells like Nahiri's Lithoforming and Reshape the Earth can burn out the entire table in a single turn. Alternatively, creature engines like Scute Swarm and Avenger of Zendikar build a massive army that closes the game via Craterhoof Behemoth or Finale of Devastation. The deck relies on proactive aggression while protecting key pieces with Heroic Intervention and Deflecting Swat.
