Commander: Zurgo, Thunder's Decree

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Zurgo Stormrender heads a Mardu token-aristocrats deck that floods the board with attacking Warrior and Goblin tokens, then converts their deaths into card advantage and table-wide drain. The primary plan is to create a wide board, multiply it with Anointed Procession and Elspeth, and finish through attack bonuses like Neyali and Neriv or through sacrifice payoffs like Goblin Bombardment and Mirkwood Bats. Secondary paths include extra combat via All-Out Assault, myriad copies from Mardu Siegebreaker, and mass graveyard recursion as a recovery engine. Zurgo, Thunder's Decree in the 99 acts as a token-survival amplifier rather than a true hidden commander.
