Commander: Yahenni, Undying Partisan

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This mono-black aristocrats deck, helmed by Yahenni, Undying Partisan, aims to dominate the board through relentless sacrifice, death triggers, and grindy card advantage. The primary game plan is to establish a sacrifice engine (Phyrexian Altar, Yahenni itself) alongside a death-payoff suite (Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat) and a recursive creature (Reassembling Skeleton, Gravecrawler) to generate infinite drain loops. Pitiless Plunderer supercharges the mana engine, while Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos keep opposing boards clear. The deck backs this up with a robust tutor package, strong recursion, and multiple board wipes. Yahenni serves as a flexible sacrifice outlet, a growing threat with indestructible protection, and a hasted attacker that can close games via commander damage when equipped.
